The session I had with my adviser was very helpful and informative. I had some specific questions I was able to get answers for, and we worked through the process with my details rather than a hypothetical example which also helped to tailor the session and bring it to life. As a prospective first time buyer with very little prior knowledge about mortgages, reading the CC&A article for first time buyers followed by meeting my adviser gave me a massive confidence boost and gave me a much better basis for my property search as we were able to (approximately) calculate affordability
