NEW vacancy – Mortgage Administrator

Charles Cameron & Associates have a new opportunity for an eager Mortgage Administrator to
work efficiently and enthusiastically in a proactive forward-thinking manner, using organisation,
management and proactive talents.

You should have excellent communication skills as you will be required to deal with Mortgage
Lenders, Clients and Solicitors particularly in the absence of the Broker, both verbally and in
person.

You should be able to work well under pressure using your own initiative, on your own as well as
part of a team. You will provide direct administrative support to cover 4-6 Mortgage Brokers.
The ideal candidate will have experience in processing, in full, all mortgage business from
application stage to completion. Servicing of existing and new clients and provision of additional
PA support to assist all brokers with their day-to-day activities.

Our requirements

• 2 years minimum Mortgage Administration experience
• Good general knowledge of all High Street Mortgage Lenders and their processes
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and associated software
• Previous experience of Bluecoat/Finplan an advantage but not essential, training will
be provided

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Finplan/Bluecoat reviewed and kept up to date tracking and monitoring each stage
of the mortgage process.
• Liaise with lenders, insurance companies, solicitors and clients ensuring
requirements are met and all cases are dealt with in a timely manner.
• Ensuring acceptance terms and mortgage offers received as promptly as possible
and checking these against application/illustration.
• Electronic filing of client correspondence and all other relevant documentation
should be carried out at the time of processing.
